Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The DEP anticipates that the activities required by this legislation could be handled by one full time Office Assistant III. This person would be responsible for tracking & maintaining all information on the bonds related to the Oil & Gas program. Due to the fact that these activities are required over the life of a well, the need for this position will be on-going.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The above estimate is for a full-time Office Assistant III position at mid-range of the pay grade, plus benefits and estimated current expense. The SFY 2013 amount anticipates 1/12 of the personal service costs and only a portion of the current expense costs based on the position being filled in the month of June only for that fiscal year. Subsequent years include the full estimated annual cost.
