Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The total cost of this legislation for the upcoming fiscal year will be $41,500. This cost will be of benefits for spouses voluntarily separated from employment to accompany a spouse on active military duty. WorkForce estimates the number of participants to be around 10, the average weekly benefit $256.19, and the average benefit duration to be 16 weeks. The costs to administer these benefits would be negligible based on the overall volume of claimants.
