The proposed bill would increase the Department of Environmental Protection's FTE's by one. It would require a new position number and funding of $80,640 in general revenue beginning in state fiscal year 2013. This is based on the bill being effective 7/1/12.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The above estimate is based on one position, with the DOP classification of Internal Auditor (9176). The estimate uses a mid-range salary, a 38% benefit rate and $7,500 in annual current expense. It uses a 7/1/12 effective date for the legislation.
Memorandum
There are differences in the requirements for the position included in the legislation and the requirements in the DOP classificaton for an Internal Auditor (9176).
