Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill increases Tier 1 magistrates from an annual salary of $50,000 to 60% of the salary of a circuit judge whic would be $69,600. This bill would cost the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals approximately $2,808,123.
