Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The additional cost associated with this proposed legislation is estimated to be $2,500. This funding would be used to cover the training cost of an Academy intructor. No additional personnel would be needed. The anti-racial curriculum would be incorporated into in-service training for the existing state troopers. Outside local law enforcement agencies (city, county) would bear the cost for their officer's annual training requirements as they presently do for their training needs.
