Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would increase the Capitol Building Commission by three members to include a member appointed by the President of the Senate, one member appointed by the Speaker of the House of Delegates and one member appointed by the Supreme Court of Appeals. The members serve without compensation and are reimbursed for expenses only.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The Capitol Building Commission meets quarterly at the Cultural Center during normal office hours. Assuming that the new members appointed are employees who work and reside in Charleston, there would be no costs associated with the passage of this legislation.
If the new members that are appointed do not reside in Charleston then there would be minimal cost increases for reimbursement of mileage, hotels, etc.
