Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would allow magistrate court clerks to charge $5.00 for preparing an abstract of judgement. There is no way of knowing how much money this will generate. The money will create revenue for the Magistrate Court Fund used to fund magistrate court facilities and will help offset the amount counties have to pay to operate the cost of the facilities.
