Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would subject persons convicted of sexual offenses against minors who are on parole or probation to "GPS" monitoring for the duration of their life. Appproximately this would place 467 offenders on a GPS device at $8.25 per day = $3,852.00 for 365 days = $1,405,980 per year.
