We receive about 75 new applications per year. This legislation would therefore generate approximately $7,500 per year.
Memorandum
There are 1,796 licensed motor vehicle inspection stations in the state. If this was an annual fee, it would generate $179,600 per year. However, as the bill is drafted, it would only impact those new facilities that apply for a license from the effective date of the bill.
