Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The strike and insert amendment, as reported by the Committee on Education, provides additional training for members of the various county boards of education. Although this legislation requires county board members to complete more training hours, the additional cost, if any, would be offset by minimizing the use of county resources to address various issues that may be avoided by the additional training requirements for county board members. This legislation does not have any impact on the WVDE.
