Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill will establish the Pierpont Community and Technical College Great Expectations Pilot Program for 3 years. During this time, a qualified foster child who joins the program will be paired with a coach to provide a unique blend of life-coaching and college success navigation. The cost will be $95,000 as stated in the proposed legislation. After 3 years, the program will be evaluated for success and further implementation.
