Fiscal Note Summary

Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.

The proposed bill, SB365, would create fee waivers for hunting, trapping, and fishing licenses for individuals who are 100 percent disabled from all categories of first responders in the State of West Virginia, including police, firefighters, EMTs, Division of Forestry emergency responders, and other first responders. We estimate that this legislation would cost the agency $136,330 at minimum per annum, not including costs for possible future qualified recipients which would increase the annual cost.
