The purpose of this bill is to provide services to eligible persons to assist in transition following a felony drug conviction involving crack cocaine. The Department of Health Facilities does not provide the services outlined in this bill, therefore no fiscal impact is anticipated for DHF.

Duplicative language at page 1, ยง9-11-3. Prospective application only, "Benefits are prospective only. The fiscal note is technically flawed as section 9-11-2 (a) conflicts with existing code. The Department of Health and Human Resources became three departments effective January 1, 2024.
