Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
We have reviewed the provisions of the proposed legislation and we are unable to identify any specific changes in either revenues or expenses which would be manifested by the adoption of the Bill. Specifically, the Bill does not establish any new or additional review requirements for the Securities Division of the State Auditor’s Office which are not already in place currently. Nor, does the Bill create any additional revenues, other than the fee charges which are currently in law.
