Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.


This bill relates to unlawful discriminatory practices by a financial institution or government entity against manufacturers, retailers, distributors, shooting ranges, or trade associations that support in the lawful commerce of firearms or firearm accessories. The Attorney General Office may file a civil cause of action in the name of the state against an entity believed to be engaging in an unlawful discriminatory practice. If the action brought by the Attorney General prevails, the Attorney General shall recommended to the Governor a discontinuation of state business relations with the violators.
