Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to require licensed programs, under the Medication-Assisted Treatment Program Licensing Act, to offer long-acting reversible contraception to patients recovering from addiction to new and current patients.
This Legislation has no fiscal impact on the Department as the bill does not direct the Department of Health to take action or pay for the long-acting reversible contraception. The Department of Health is not a medication-assisted treatment program or health insurance provider.
