Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to increase the total number of children allowable for informal family child care.
The Department currently anticipates no fiscal impact as a result of this legislation as there is currently only one informal family child care home in the state. Should passage result in an increase in the number of Informal Family Child Care settings, there could be increased costs to the child care subsidy system, but these are unquantifiable at present.
