This legislation, in its current form, does not have any fiscal impact on the WVDE because any provisions pertaining to implementing trauma-informed practices can be managed utilizing existing staff and resources.
Memorandum
Since the WVDE has in-house staff and resources that can be utilized to implement the provisions of this legislation, there is not any fiscal impact for the State. The WVDE anticipates utilizing existing materials available from eLearning and the Marshall TA Center including the three-hour trauma-informed course.
