Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The expense of the addition of dietitians having a Compact license to practice in our state should be absorbed by revenue fees.
There may be additional costs associated with being in the Compact related to; possible Compact fee to belong; travel and personnel costs associated with attending Compact Meetings; additional time use of office person; additional office supply costs, etc.
These costs should be able to be covered by our Revenues. The Board would remain financially self sustaining.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
There may be some expenses associated with the Compact. Any increase should be able to be absorbed by our current revenues. We would remain self-sustaining, while an increase in expenses may occur in the budget, again while being offset by revenue.
Memorandum
The Compact will active once 3 more states become members. This is expected to occur in the near future. Once it is active the fees, etc. will be determined.
