Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The State Treasurer's Office currently does not have any employees that reside in counties that are, according to the OPM, designated locality pay areas. Therefore, the proposed legislation would have no fiscal impact on the Treasurer's Office at this time.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The State Treasurer's Office may employ individuals in the future that may reside in one of the OPM locality counties. However, any future cost increase would depend on a number of factors such as the employee's salary, counties being added, or removed as OPM locality counties. Therefore, any future cost is very speculative.
