Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The State Treasurer's Office may employ individuals in the future that may reside in one of the OPM locality counties. However, any future cost increase would depend on a number of factors such as the employee's salary, counties being added, or removed as OPM locality counties. Therefore, any future cost is very speculative.
