There is no technical defect identified within this bill other than it addresses responsibilities that are assigned to the West Virginia Department of Economic Development (formerly the West Virginia Development Office), and may have been sent in error to our separate entity, the West Virginia Economic Development Authority (WVEDA). However, the stands ready to assist the WVDED in any manner it can to improve the economy in the region represented in the Southern Coalfield Resiliency and Revitalization Program.
