The proposed changes in this bill would not have any impact on the Municipal Pensions Oversight Board (MPOB) or the municipal policemen's and firemen's pension funds for which it provides oversight. The MPOB and municipal policemen's and firemen's pension funds for which it provides oversight are governed by §8-22-16 to §8-22-28a. The proposed changes to §16-5V-2 would have no impact on this agency or it's constituent pension plans.
