Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this legislation is to replace the current single day non-resident fishing license ($3) with a three consecutive day license ($9, $3/day).
Given that the price per day would remain the same, we anticipate no substantial fiscal impact from this change. This change was recommended in a recent survey of license holders based on their desire to be able to purchase a single 3-day license as opposed to three 1-day licenses.
