HB2491 lacks a clear definition of regional field employees. Division of Highways (DOH) has defined "regional field employees" as our DOH Transportation Worker Series. This does not include multiple classifications and series found in each district, i.e., storekeepers, accounting technicians, administrative staff.

Personal services are defined as employee wages.
other costs are defined as employee benefits paid by DOH.
Over a three year period, the cost will be, $2,908,000 ($3,781,000 with benefits).
In addition to current salary levels.
The figures do not include the possible addition of multiple vacant positions within the Transportation Worker Series.

In response to lines 22-24, the State Personnel Board (SPB) at its meeting held on April 19, 2018, approved the DOT-DOH proposal (SPB#2792) to establish its own Salary Pay Plan in response to SB2003 which became effective December 1, 2017.
