Memorandum
The proposed legislation provides for the creation of a management information system for performance metrics that will compliment the upcoming anticipated federal performance standards. The required deadlines for a real time user interface will be a challenge and will require significant re-programming based on the status of the WVDOH’s involvement with the Enterprise Resource Program project called the wvOASIS and the current on-going upgrade to our existing bridge and pavement management systems. The estimated cost assuming the deadlines can be adjusted is $250,000 for initial programming and set-up and an annual cost of $25,000 for minor adjustments and administrative costs.
