Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Agency projects basically a revenue neutral impact to the agency due to the limited number of licenses projected to be issued to a narrow portion of the HVAC industry. Costs should be close to expected revenue generated.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Personnel costs are derived from dividing salary and benefits of (1) FTE (Office Assistant II) from full-time to part-time to perform the administrative functions associated with any licensure program.
Current expenses are derived from estimating materials and mailing associated with the program.
Revenue is calculated based upon projected number of HVAC technicians receiving a "Fire Damper" license (100) * fee for three year license ($150.00).
