| This proposed legislation will cost the State of West Virginia approximately $786,210 the first year which includes retroactive longevity increases for existing troopers who will have a minimum of two years of service in FY 2015 as set forth in 15-2-5e.
The estimate for the year of full implementation is $81,053 which covers the additional $100/year increase on longevity payments.

Calculations for longevity were based on actual and projected membership for year one and for all 698 funded uniformed positions for year of full implementation.
|West Virginia State Police Improvement #10 as presented in the Governor's Recommended Budget contains the $400 longevity request for Uniformed members for FY2015 and should not be offset should this piece of legislation pass.|
