The estimate provided is based upon historical experience with our WEAPON system vendor.



Memorandum


To be able to pass this “3 Emergency Contacts” information through the WEAPON system, our current vendor would have to create a totally new interface to the DMV as well as create the query forms and response forms. These changes are not physical equipment, but rather software changes that would be created specifically for us in the State of West Virginia. Also, this would be an “IN-state” only feature since this emergency contact information is not a standard message key used across the nation.
