Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to change the Bronze Star recipient registration plate from an annual registration renewal to a ten-year registration renewal.
There is an initial $10 fee along with the $30 annual registration with this plate. As of October 2012, there were 770 Bronze Star license plates registered.
Eliminating the annual registration for this plate would result in a revenue loss of $23,100 annually.
