FUNDING MUST BE FROM GENERAL REVENUE Listed below are estimates for Salary and Employee Benefits funding increase amounts required for FY 2015 in excess of the current FY 2014 amount if legislation is passed. FY 2015 Salary Increase Per Year $533,481.00 Employee Benefits @ 27% 144,039.87 Total Salary Increase FY 2015 $677,520.87 Longevity Increase Per Year $320,800.00 Employee Benefits @ 27% 86,616.00 Total Longevity Increase FY 2015 $407,416.00 Total Salary and Longevity FY 2015 $1,084,936.87 Listed below are estimates for Salary and Employee Benefits funding increase amounts required for FY 2016 in excess of the current FY 2014 amount if legislation is passed. FY 2016 Salary Increase Per Year $545,745.00 Employee Benefits @ 27% 147,351.15 Total Salary Increase FY 2015 $693,096.15 Longevity Increase Per Year $609,200.00 Employee Benefits @ 27% 164,484.00 Total Longevity Increase FY 2016 $773,684.00 Total Salary and Longevity FY 2016 $1,466,780.15 Annual additional costs over and above the current Fiscal Year 2014 if this legislation is passed are as follows: FY 2015 $1,084,936.87 FY 2016 $1,466,780.15 Additional annual appropriation funding of longevity costs would be necessary because increases in longevity pay continue to as officers attain additional years of service. .
