Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would transfer $13,503,812 (current value) of timber resources from the WVDOF to the WVDNR. The WVDOF would lose an estimated $104,000 of income generated annually from timber sales. This amount will vary with stumpage prices and most likely will be $208,000 every other year.  The WVDOF would lose time management, planning,investment and income of applied Forestry since 1936.
