|Effect of Proposal||Fiscal Year|
|1. Estmated Total Cost||0||0||0|
|Repairs and Alterations||0||0||0|
|2. Estimated Total Revenues||0||0||0|
3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Because an act of violence resulting in the death of an employee is projected to be a rare occurrence, there is no estimated annual cost for the proposed legislation. However, in today's society, such an act of violence is not out of the realm of possibility. In the tragic event that such an act of violence does occur, the cost to the state would be $12,000 per school personnel killed while in performance of their duties.
