| The purpose of this bill is to increase the educational increment for school personnel from $12 per month to $15 per month for high school diplomas and from $11 to $15 for the various levels of college hours or comparable credit. |

The estimated cost to the State under the Public School Support Program (PSSP) is $826,105. This estimate includes an increase in Step 2 (service personnel salaries), Step 3 (fixed costs), Step 6 (current expenses) and retirement. |
