Memorandum
HB 2299 does not significantly impact the regulatory responsibilities of the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
If enacted, HB 2299 may increase the costs of insurance companies who would be required to comply with the provisions of HB 2299. Accordingly, the potential exists for increases in insurance premiums for the lines of insurance impacted by the proposed legislation.
