| The DEP anticipates that the activities required by this legislation could be handled by one full time Office Assistant III. This person would be responsible for tracking & maintaining all information on the bonds related to the Oil & Gas program. Due to the fact that these activities are required over the life of a well, the need for this position will be on-going. |

3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The above estimate is for a full-time Office Assistant III position at mid-range of the pay grade, plus benefits and estimated current expense. The SFY 2013 amount anticipates 1/12 of the personal service costs and only a portion of the current expense costs based on the position being filled in the month of June only for that fiscal year. Subsequent years include the full estimated annual cost. |
