Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
| Funding in the amount of $225,000, $25,000 per community and technical college, to carry out the provisions outlined in Senate Bill 436 regarding the Community and Technical College / Career Technical Education Planning Consortia. This funding will support activities beyond the State Department of Education’s fiscal note related to EDGE initiatives. Funding will be utilized to support the development of collaborative degree completion programs, the development of Programs of Study and facilitation of other activities relating to transition of students from high school to a community and technical college. Community and technical colleges have facilitating responsibility for the consortia. |
