The Crisis Response Template has been completed and approved by the WVBE in their December 2011 board meeting. It currently does not include the requirement of this new Bill. Patriot Services is the selected vendor establishing the Crisis Response Plan. In order to include the sports injuries protocol that this Bill requires in the Crisis Response Plan, would require an additional section in the Template. Patriot Services would need to include this protocol in all of WV 55 school counties as well as revise the template, which the company has estimated will cost an additional $50,000.
