| DEP anticipates that the activities required by this legislation could be handled by one full time Office Assistant III. This person would be responsible for tracking and maintaining all information on the bonds related to Oil & Gas. Due to the fact that these activities are required over the life of a well, the need for this position will be on-going. |

3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The above estimate includes a full time Office Assistant III position at mid-range of the pay grade, plus benefits and current expense. The 2012 amount anticipates 1/6 of the personnel costs based on the position being filled for the months of May & June only, based on an anticipated effective date for the legislation of April 2012.
