| REVISED - EXEMPT MEMBERS ONLY
This proposed legislation has a projected cost of $172,417 and is based upon 80 members classified as exempt. The current rate of $236 has not been adjusted since 1990 and therefore has not kept pace with across-the-board increases, which diminishes the amount of compensable hours that can be worked.

3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
This increases the supplemental pay for 80 exempt troopers by $164 per month, or $1,968 per year. Other costs include medicare costs (1.45%) and employer matching retirement (15%) for those covered by the Plan A retirement system.
