    The purpose of this bill is to provide teachers, administrators and others having direct contact with students with the education, training and resources necessary to detect warning signs and to assist with suicide prevention and to ensure the safety of state schools.

    The Center for Professional Development (CPD) would incur the expenses regarding routine training. The West Virginia Department of Education would not have any expenses since the trainings would be held by CPD. It is not a required training so the county school system would not have expenses.
