| HB 2439 would have a nominal impact on the revenues and expenditures of state government as they directly relate to the regulatory responsibilities of the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner. (no fiscal impact)
The proposal expands contraceptive and pregnancy insurance coverage of spouses and dependents which may have a fiscal impact on PEIA’s benefits costs. A fiscal note request has also been made of PEIA and should be read in conjunction with this note.

|1. Estmated Total Cost||0||0||0|
|Repairs and Alterations||0||0||0|
|2. Estimated Total Revenues||0||0||0|
3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Commercial insurers would likely file rates incorporating the increased benefits, but the process for review at the state would remain unchanged. No fiscal impact as it relates to the operations of the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
