Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The stated purpose of this resolution is to provide a one hundred percent homestead exemption to veterans who have a service-connected total disability.
The loss of revenue to the State and local governments cannot be determined.
There would be a one-time programming cost of $40,000 to the State Tax Department for computer programming changes on the statewide property tax computer network and application form preparation. There would be no other additional administrative costs to the State Tax Department or local governments.
