Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to clarify that surviving spouses and dependents of deceased public employees may only participate in major medical group plans.
The Public Employees insurance Agency currently administers the program as addressed by this bill. However, the clarification language would eliminate any incongruities that may arise.
There would be no fiscal impact associated with passage of this bill.
