Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This measure would neither increase nor decrease the costs and revenues of state government. The legislation changes existing code which identifies the "functions" the Division of Personnel shall perform as sections rather than as functions. The proposed amendment describes functions that are currently set forth in §29-6-7 as duties or responsibilities of the Director or that are currently set forth in §29-6-10 as provisions to be implemented through rules promulgated by the State Personnel Board. These functions are currently being performed by the Division of Personnel within current appropriations.
