Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Passage of HB 3160 will be revenue neutral. This bill clarifies the ability for the Division of Protective Services to bill for direct expenses for extraordinary situations not covered by our General Fund Appropriation. Billings can be to other State entities as well as private organizations whom sponsor events on the Capitol Campus or other locations where the Division is requested to provide a law enforcement presence.
