Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The purpose of this bill is to create the bus operator classification II for bus operators with 20 or more years of experience at the Pay Grade of E, create the technology systems specialist classification, increase the pay grade of cafeteria managers to Pay Grade E, and provide a supplement for the personnel employed in the following positions who have ASE certification: supervisors of transportation; chief mechanics, mechanics, mechanic assistants and lubrication man.
The estimated cost of the bill to the State through the Public School Support Program is $813,449, consisting of the following amounts for each proposal:
