Staff Members - $36,000 (Including Benefits); technology changes - $150,000; added expenses to State Election Commission - $10,000; the estimated amount of potential distribution to qualifying candidates participating in this project is as follows: 2010=$1,396,395; 2012=$4,232,341; and 2014=$7,069,820

The programmatic costs are rough estimates only as the actual costs may vary in accordance with the actual number of participants. The number chosen for this project reflect an average based on participation levels in states already enacting this program. The "Program Expenditures" is money that would be distributed to participating candidates from a newly-created fund which is provided for in the legislation.
