Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The Division of Corrections is not qualified to do a fiscal note on this as it would take an actuary as this impacts the Public Employees Retirement System and we do not know the intricacies of their fund. We would recommend that a fiscal note request be sent to the Public Employees Retirement System as this is quite a comprehensive bill. The Division of Corrections would be willing to assist the Public Employees Retirement System with any pertinent information needed from our agency.
