Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Passage of this legislation adds ten judges to the Family Court System and realigns several circuits to eliminate caseload and travel time for current family court judges. Since the new judges will not be elected until the 2008 General Election, this bill will not have any impact on the Supreme Court of Appeals until FY2009.
