Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The Committee Substitute for the proposed legislation will return approximately $15.6 million in funding to the State Road Fund. The bill will eliminate the DOH funding the Courtesy Patrol and, at the same time, provide funding to the State Police and the Public Service Commission.

The following programs/agencies will be eliminated from funding through the State Road Fund:

Monies for these programs/agencies will be funded through other accounts as identified in the bill

The legislation provided in the Committee Substitute will restore monies to the State Road Fund.
